The short version

  • £300, one-off. Up to five pages, mobile-first, on a byHoratio template built for your trade. Copy written from your existing site. Enquiry form, click-to-call, Google Business Profile link, basic on-page SEO.
  • Live within 7 days of receiving your logo, photos and service list. One round of revisions included.
  • £30 a month if you want it hosted and looked after: Cloudflare hosting, SSL, backups, uptime, small text and photo changes. Cancel any time.
  • You own the domain, always. If you leave, the files are handed over. Nothing is held hostage.
  • The first one is live: a gym with no website, 26 pages, video, lead capture and Stripe-ready memberships, built in two days at this price. See what £300 bought →
  • The enquiry form is built ready for the first fix — an instant reply and chase for every enquiry — because a new site that answers nobody is a nicer version of the old problem.

Most trade websites were built once, by a nephew or an agency, and have not been touched since. They are slow on a phone, the photos are old, the phone number is in a picture, and the enquiry form goes to an inbox nobody checks. This replaces it with something clean and fast, built on a template made for your trade, in a week, for less than a day's labour.

What is included, exactly?

IncludedWhat that means
Up to five pagesUsually home, services, about, gallery, contact. Mobile-first, because that is where your customers are.
A template for your tradeNursery, landscaping, fencing, glazing, building, delivery — each has its own layout, built around how that trade actually gets enquiries.
Copy written for youFrom your existing site and a ten-minute conversation. You read it; you don't write it.
Enquiry form and click-to-callOn every page. The form is built ready to connect to an instant auto-reply.
Google Business Profile linkReviews, directions and opening hours where people look for them.
Basic on-page SEOTitles, descriptions, headings, image names, a sitemap, fast loading. Not a campaign — the basics done properly.
One round of revisionsYou review, you send one list, I make the changes. After that, changes go through the care plan.
Price£300, one-off. Live within 7 days of your content.

You supply the logo, the photos and a list of what you do. That is the whole of your side of it.

2 daysis how long the first one took, from content to live. Union Thai, a martial arts gym on the Norfolk coast, had social accounts and no website; it now has 26 pages, four video loops, a free-class popup and Stripe-ready memberships. The full write-up, with the live site one click away →

What is not included?

  • More than five pages, a shop, online booking. Quoted separately if you want them; most trades don't need them yet.
  • A quote calculator for your trade. That is one of the fixed-price fixes, and it is worth doing once the site is live.
  • Photography, logo design, copy from scratch. I write from what exists. If nothing exists we talk first.
  • An SEO campaign. The site is built so search engines can read it. Ranking for competitive terms is a different job and I will say so rather than sell it.

What does the care plan cover?

£30 a month, cancel any time. Hosting on Cloudflare — the same infrastructure this site runs on — with SSL, daily backups and uptime monitoring. Small changes when you need them: a new number, a price, a swapped photo, a seasonal line on the home page. Not new pages or redesigns; those are quoted. You do not have to take it. Without it, I hand over the files on delivery and point you at hosting.

Who owns what

You own the domain, always — it is registered in your name and it stays there. While you are on the care plan I host the site and look after it. If you leave, the site files are handed over and nothing is held hostage. I have been on the other side of a web designer who owned the domain, and I will not do that to anyone.

7 daysfrom your content to live. The build is a few hours; the week is for your review and the one round of changes.

How does it work?

  • Day 0. You say yes. I send a short list: logo, photos, services, the phone number and email enquiries should go to, and who owns the domain today.
  • Day 1–2. Content arrives. I build the site on your trade's template and write the copy from your existing site and the list.
  • Day 3–5. You review a live preview and send one list of changes.
  • Day 6–7. Changes made, domain pointed, site live, Google Business Profile linked, you get a two-line note on how to send me a change.
  • Afterwards. I will tell you the one thing I noticed that is costing you more than the website was. Usually it is the enquiries nobody answers for a day.

Why is it £300?

Because it is built on a template I have already made for your trade, so the hours are small and the price can be honest about that. And because the website is rarely the biggest problem in a trade business — the businesses I have worked inside were losing far more to quoting from memory, orders in folders and an owner who was the only person who knew the prices. The site is how we meet. If the rest is useful, it follows; if it is not, you have a good website for £300 and we are square.

That is also why the enquiry form is built ready for an instant reply and chase, and why the question I ask after handover is about your working week rather than your colour scheme. The whole method is in the guide, and the engagement that follows — when it follows — starts with the operations audit.

Questions people ask

What exactly do I get for £300?

Up to five pages — usually home, services, about, gallery and contact — mobile-first, built on a byHoratio template for your trade. I write the copy from your existing site and what you tell me. It includes an enquiry form, click-to-call on every page, a link to your Google Business Profile, and the basic on-page SEO: titles, descriptions, headings, image names, a sitemap. You supply the logo, photos and a list of services. One round of revisions is included.

Why is it so cheap?

Because it is built on a template I have already made for your trade, and because the site is the start of a relationship, not the whole of it. Most of the businesses I work with have a bigger problem than their website — quoting from memory, orders in folders, the owner as the only person who knows the prices — and the site is how we meet. I price it to be an easy yes, deliver it properly, and let the rest follow if it is useful.

What does 'live within 7 days' actually mean?

Seven days from the day I have your logo, photos and service list, not from the day you pay. The build itself is a few hours; the week is for your review and the one round of changes. If content arrives late, the clock starts when it does.

Who owns the domain and the site?

You own the domain, always — it is registered in your name and stays there. While you are on the care plan I host the site on Cloudflare and look after it. If you leave, I hand over the files and point you at hosting; nothing is held hostage.

What does the £30 a month cover?

Hosting on Cloudflare, SSL, backups, uptime monitoring, and small changes — a new phone number, a price, a swapped photo, a seasonal line on the home page. Not new pages or redesigns; those are quoted. Cancel any time.

Can you add a shop, online booking or a quote calculator?

Not inside the £300, but yes. A quote calculator for your trade is one of the fixed-price fixes; bookings and shops are quoted separately. The enquiry form is built ready to connect to the first fix — an instant reply and chase for every enquiry — which is usually the thing worth doing next.

—One next step

A better website is the start, not the point.

Reply yes and it is live within 7 days for £300. Then I will tell you the one thing costing you more than the old site did. Twenty minutes, no deck, no pitch.
